The weird home is situated in Goldcity Tourism Center. The roof, balcony, toilets, rooms, windows, the door and even the garden and the tree is upside down. It fast became one of the most popular attractions for tourists in Antalya region. It is funny to learn that you open the doors by pulling to the up.

This is exactly what two Turkish families constructed to visit each other without efforts. One side is a 75 years old father, the other side is his daughter and her family. This bridge is already there for 3 years and seems to be secure.. At least until now !

One of the cities of Turkey, Balikesir, municipality of the city announced that there will be hailing and raining much that day. The citizens taken cautions by covering their cars with every kind of objects they could find including cartons, rugs and even carpets ! I adore very scientific solutions of my people !

We had recently talked about how Wordpress was banned. This time, we achieved to get the Oscar. Recently, Turkish singer, actor and later director Mahsun Kirmizigul applied to them claiming that his film Beyaz Melek (White Angel) is being distributed illegally on several torrent websites including IMDB ! Can you imagine IMDB as an illegal torrent site? Anyway, the courts make such ban decisions and Turk Telekom applies. It is told that the very talented tech. guys of Turk Telekom banned imbd.com instead of imdb.com with the intention of banning IMDB. Imbd : This is just a parked domain name taking advantage of IMDB. We should ask several questions here.

1) Don’t they have an idea of what Imdb.com is?

2) Do they have right to cut the access to every website they don’t like?

3) What is next? Google? Yahoo? Blogger? Microsoft ????????

4) Millions of people are paying them for Internet service, are these people stupid to pay?

6) Let’s learn again the difference on domain names, please: imdb.com and imbd.com are different. OK?

Well, I know that the title is rather direct and provocative, but it is almost true. I will tell why almost. Turk Telekom is the main internet service provider in Turkey and has millions of users. Everything is usual up to now, but one defect. They can ban any website according to a court’s decision. The court bans and they just apply. See something bad and ban everything completely. If you haven’t heard of yet but they had closed (and continue time to time) Youtube completely for their users before, just because of some videos. After long discussions, they could understand that it is not the correct way and opened it. Now, I see that our lovely wordpress.com is banned too. I am very angry. Why to ban millions of blogs just because of some crap (Just some court didn’t like it, they close also every porn site they see in Google Search meaninglessly, hahahahaha millions exist)? This kind of behavior just makes Turkish youth to use web proxies and they further become lamers and sometimes future hackers because of over thinking to overcome the barriers ) Nothing can stop our testosterone powered youth to reach porn and harmful stuff. Go folks! Hmmm.. Maybe to ban EnglishTurkey.com or better Internet completely?! Final solution. Shame for us!

Well, that’s interesting ! A woman from the city Samsun Turkey opened a case to the doctors who have forgotten gauze bandage in her abdomen while she borned her second child using caesarean method. She then had to have 2 more operations because bandage had made inflammation.

Finally, 3 professors who give expert reports to the court have decided “Forgetting bandage in abdomen is not a mistake! Because the possibility of forgetting several objects during surgery is around 1/3000. It can happen sometimes in operations”

I always adore scientific approach and decisions to the little problems! Next time to forget a big knife would be cool !

There is a legendary list very popular in Turkish blogs for years. Some say they are true, some say they are not. I personally think that some of them are really true stories because all mainstream news, tvs had given on their front pages. I remember some of them. I tried my best for correct translation. Sorry for my poor grammar beforehand. Enjoy the death!

1) One worker tried to pass through under a 600 ton press machine by crawling to light his cigaratte in front of a 2450 celcius degrees industrial oven. Place : Karabuk Iron & Steel Factory

2) A person died while he is getting hair cut on a barber salon. The reason is that the barber suddenly turned his neck to left and right thinking that it will give relaxness to the client. Place : Erzurum, Center Barber Salon (I believe it is true, because personally met such barbers who think that this will make the neck better working, dear tourists! keep yourself prepared while you are in local barbers)

3) A fly escaped to one’s stomach through mouth. He tried to kill it with Sheltox insect killer by spraying inside. Place: Istanbul / Sultanbeyli

4) One person tried to take out a stone which was escaped to his shoe and leaned towards a electric post. A passerby villager thought he was being shocked by electricity and tried to help him, then hit him by the head with his oar. Place: Rize / Ardesen / Tunca Village

5) Someone was going happily on the road. A balcony from a building drops on him!! Place : Istanbul / Dudullu

6) He was saved from a traffic accident and while he was being sent to hospital in an ambulance, ambulance took part in another traffic accident. He died this time. Actually, it is very common situation in Turkey. I don’t know about the other countries.
